The old versus the new
Let's start with an overview of the product. What does the new One do that the old one couldn't do?
First of all, the new One is much thinner than the previous one. With a height of just 18 mm compared to the 38 mm of its predecessor, it is considerably smaller. This allows for new design possibilities, such as doors with very thin frames, which we will go into detail about later.
Secondly, the new One has a completely new design. The aluminum housing is the same as the System M+ and System M. This makes milling into the door easier compared to the old One.
In addition, it is compatible with top hinges. The new System One is available in two versions: the regular 70mm System One and the 40mm System One. This last option makes the new One compatible with all FritsJurgens top hinges.

Never change a winning team
Many aspects of System One remain exactly the same as what you're used to. It is still capable of supporting pivot doors from 0 to 500 kg in weight. It is still the best solution for pivot doors that do not require greater movement adjustability. It continues to stand out for its simplicity.
The new One, new design possibilities
The new One gives you design possibilities that the old One couldn't offer. Firstly, the combination of the new One with TP-R, FritsJurgens Top pivot Reversed.

This top hinge installs into the lintel jamb or ceiling, rather than the top of the door frame. Thanks to this placement and the absence of a hardware piece on the door, you can opt for super slim door frames. Combine this with the new One, just 18mm high, and all your door frames can have a minimum height of 18mm.
We still have the new combination of System One and TP-40. Small interior doors that do not require greater movement adjustment capacity and for which TP-40 is the appropriate solution can now be combined with the System One. This means that for simpler interior doors that occupy less space with a 40mm pivot point, you can now choose a pivot hinge that suits the purpose of your door.
A new paving slab
The interface of the new One is different from that of the old One. This means that the hinge spindle, the part of the hinge that rests on the floor plate, has changed. This interface is not entirely new: the new System One has the same interface that the System M and M+ already have.
This is the NA paving plate: non-adjustable paving plate. Since the System One has no additional features, this pivot hinge does not require an adjustable floor plate, as does the System M+ and M. This floor plate is available in one finish, brushed 316 stainless steel, and has floor plate pins. brass pavement, as you are used to.

This new floor plate creates more uniformity with the System M range, fits better into the overall design of the product and reduces the space between the door and the floor plate. The old System One had a 13 millimeter gap under the door. With this new paving plate, the space is reduced to 11 millimeters.

Long story made short, the main characteristics of this new product are the following: 18 in height. A uniform product design. A pivot point at both 40 and 70 mm. And, like the old System One, a load capacity of up to 500 kilograms.

The new System One is available in two versions: the regular 70mm System One and the 40mm System One.
The System One 70mm has a minimum pivot point of 70mm from the side of the door to the center placement. The System One 40mm can be combined with the Top pivot 40mm, and of course has a fixed pivot point 40mm from the side of the door. The fixing brackets are the differences between the products. Internally, they are the same.

The system has an aluminum casing, just like the M and M+ System, creating a more uniform product line with respect to design.
Two cover plate designs
For the System One 40 mm we have two protective plates available, the same as for the System M and M+ 40 mm. They are also available in the same colors: stainless steel and black.

The new One has a height of 18 mm. When compared to the old System One, which was 38mm high, it is quite a change.
